Resolved Question: what do u think of homeless Puppy on Christmas Day ?
The first unwanted puppy this Christmas was handed over to a rescue shelter on Christmas Day, a charity has said.
The Dogs Trust said a couple in Scotland had bought the puppy, called Theo, as a present to themselves but decided they couldn't look after him.
So they took Theo to the West Calder Rehoming centre in West Lothian where he is being cared for.
Staff at the centre are taking Theo home with them over Christmas, as they are worried he might get scared.

Resolved Question: How did your team go in today's Pre-season & Rookie draft?
West Coast Eagles selected Patrick McGinnity of Claremont with their No. 7 pick.
They also picked the following for their rookie list;
Lewis Stevenson - Claremont
Ashley Arrowsmith - Calder Cannons
Will Sullivan - Western Jets
Callum Wilson - South Fremantle
WCE have an uncanny knack of identifying young talent. I don't know much about Arrowsmith & Sullivan but they must show some promise.
I bet they are over the moon to have been selected by the nations Number 1 club!

Voting Question: Do you have a business in East Calder, West Lothian?
I am on the parents commitee for East Calder Playgroup and we, like many others, are trying to raise funds for the playgroup.
Instead of just going down the usual route of raffles and sponsored walks etc, we thought that we would ask for a donation from local businesses and trades people in the Villiage to support the excellent work that the staff do with our children in their early years in Education. We receive funding from West Lothian council, but this just covers the small wage bill that we have.
Could you spare some cash for the Playgroup (every little bit helps) or perhaps you have a trade and can donate some of you time? Please help us, it helps get the kids off to a really fantastic start! Remember, these are the employees and business people of the future! Many thanks
Eleanor
Thanks for your ideas, Fi!! Now, don't suppose you know anyone that can help me out with a website, do you!

Resolved Question: East Calder Playgroup - Can you help? I am looking for a kind soul to set up a web page for the playgroup...?
We are a charity, so if you could do it free of charge, that would be wonderful, but we could discuss this further. We are trying to promote this excellent facility in the villiage of East Calder, West Lothian, Scotland, to raise it's profile and hopefully secure some donations and pledges to make this a fulfilling experience for our children. Thank you x
