Resolved Question: Does Federal prosecution supersede State prosecution regarding election fraud? ?
The reason I ask, is that I am in a position to, profitably, sell my elected seat. If I were to be prosecuted, I can only hope the the Feds would do it. I would plead guilty of course. To the Feds. While sailing past their "Club Fed" facilities here in LA, I can see a number of the incarcerated nere-do-wells playing tennis, getting sun tans on the grass and generally having a grand old time. There is a war raging inside of my heart. It feels like I'm falling right back to the start. And I need you to set me free. I'm desperate, I'm crying out, please hear me! So hungry to shine with all of Your light, For Your grace and Your mercy I will always fight. Because, just when I think I'm about to fail, Your love pushes me forward like the wind on a sail. It seems so easy to go back to the things I used to do. Forget I ever went to Church, forget about You. But how could I dismiss everything that You've done? The way You died on the Cross, the war that You won. You made me realise I could never go back. Now I need Your wisdom to help me stay on track. This is about the struggle that I sometimes go through to get close to God. Before I went to Church I used to party heaps and go out clubbing every weekend. Resolved Question: Girls: Generally, how I be seen in your eyes?
I just want to get an opinion on how good my chances are; of landing any girl I wish. (I don't really expect to "land" any girl I wish, I'm just looking for opinions.) Physical appearance: I'm a senior in high school and I'm shy. I'm 6' tall, sort of long blonde hair, brown eyes, and fit. I like to surf, ski, sail, swim, run track, draw, paint, and i'm involved in many clubs at school; I'm very busy. More importantly, my personality: I like to make an influence on other people's lives, in a positive way. whether it's by making them laugh or holding a door open for them. I enjoy socializing even though it's hard for me at times, because I'm shy. Generally, I am very calm and laid back. I tend not to become agitated or angry; I try to be happy. I have the kind of friends that are there for me, they make me laugh-I make them laugh. I enjoy spending time in the outdoors (probably because I'm a scout), and I really am grateful for what opportunities have been offered to me, and the experiences I have been able to experience. It may sound a bit general but, I basically just appreciate what life has to offer; whether it's good or not. I'm a happy guy. In reality I really just want a girl like me...not too talkative or outgoing. Just laid back. I'm really interested in her personality and would love to be part of her life. Resolved Question: Is a 2.85 gpa good enough for...?
Going into my senior year, i will have a 2.85 Acedemic GPA, and a 3.0 Total Weighted GPA. With a SAT of 1800, and i am an Eagle Scout and have played all four years of baseball, freshman, jv, and 2 years in varcity. I have also participated in a club sailing for three years. I was wondering what my chances were of getting into a middle (not the best, not the worst) state college, or maybe U.C but probably not. I just wanted to see what you guys thought, thanks. Resolved Question: Does anyone have experience with sailing?
I haven't looked into it yet, but I have been really keen on joining a sailing club as I would love to ride a boat along the river near me. Canoeing (sorry about the spelling) looks fun, but I would not like to do it as a sport. Just a leasurly activity, where I can sit down with luggage and a friend and sail into town. I don't know what type of boat this is called. I have in mind a dinghy without a motor. Would there be clubs for that type of sailing? I know that they have canoe clubs where I live. (more...)

Resolved Question: How can we stop knife & gun crime in the UK & gang problems?
How can we stop knife & gun crime in the UK?? Locking these people up won't do anything because it will just be like cutting the top off a weed as the root of the problem will still be there, e.i you take one guy off the streets another one will take their place in no time. Should there be a bigger investment made into these areas so more kids have something to do other than being bored on the street corner?? E.I open up an Army cadets, free gym memberships, better youth clubs, activity groups that get kids out sailing & abseiling etc etc Should more money also be made available for these inner city schools which get breadcrumbs compared to the rural schools or schools in a better areas? How do we break the fear that some people have of reporting these crimes to the police?? or the "don't snitch" mentality. How can we teach kids there is more too life than gangs?? Bring national service back? Jim many people play violent video games but they don't feel the need to stick a knife into someone & the rare cases that people do copy games they have a mental health problem. It's tradition at our sailing camp to see who can have the best prank through out the whole week. It's our last year and we want to have the BIGGEST and BEST one yet. It is a sailing camp, so it can have something to do with the boats, BUT it cant damage them in any way. we've already had someone put one of the boats on the roof of the club house, move the swimming barge, plastic wrap the pavillion. Resolved Question: What are my chances of getting into UCSB or UCSC?
out of state, that is i'm a senior, and i have 3.2 unweighted, but a 3.8 weighted my classes (currently) are AP european history, AP environmental science, AP english lit, honors french 4 and honor pre-calc ive played soccer for three years, track for four, and lacrosse for four. ive also been a member of KEY club, student council and SADD for four years. i want to go for marine bio, and im a certified scuba diver (advanced open water, padi night diver specialty, padi wreck diver specialty, padi deep diver specialty, underwater naturalist, boat diver specialty, and equipment repair specialty). i also sail and have my IYT (International Yacht master Training) certification. im a model, and have done volunteer work through my agency, and i have also volunteered at a daycare center and at a company that cooks and ships food to people unable to cook for themselves ive held the same job for two years, and my boss made me manager last year i have a 1980 on my sat's and a 27 on my ACTs i submitted my application at the earliest possible date AND IM FREAKING OUT so dont be nice, dont try and spare my feelings, just give it to me strait (more...)

I was asking a question about this guy I like and this is what this lady said "OMG u shud soooo like totally get a life anf focus on more important thingzzzzz!" Isn't that rude?? I have a life there is nothing wrong with asking about boys is there??? I run Varsity track and Varsity Cross Country. I am on the soccer team, the golf team and a seasonal competitve swimming team. and I spend the summers surfing, boggie boarding and sailing. I am in honor society and like 3 other clubs. I have a life. I mean if you know how to balance guys and other things why should it matter if you are interested in boys????? (more...)
