Open Question: why is everything going so wrong in my life?
everyone hates me, even in primary school no one wanted to know me no matter how much i tried to make friends. and then in high school i had some major bladder problems so i used to pee myself all the time at school which of course made people hate me even more and every time i went in a classroom everyone was like 'omg thats fucking stinkin!' i kept getting my ass kicked by anyone and everyone 'because youre a tramp!' then there was the problem of my mum going thrrough a rather messy divorce after my stepdad started getting violent. by the time i keft school '(got expelled) i was such a mess. id always been pretty shy and had really low self esteem but then after 12 years of daily hell at school it was even worse. i spent like a whole year sitting in my house not really doing anything but not wanting to go out. eventually i had to get a job and the people i worked with kinda helped my self esteem and said every girl wanted to be me and every guy wanted to go out with me. but not long after i started making friends again stuff started to go missing from my house and my bag, total of about £130 and lots of my stuff like clothes dvds etc. now im back to sitting in my house all day everyday where i just eat, sleep and watch tv and od on sleeping pills everyday. i feel so lost and i dont wanna be sitting here all my life but i cant do anything else. im too shy now to even get a job, and i cant trust people again and plus even if i could id never have a boyfriend because i cant stand any kind of sexual activity or even kissing! . i couldnt even hold hands with a guy, i dont want anyone touching me in any way, now im really lost, im 23 now and i dont know what to do now. i just wanna sit and get so wasted everyday that i have no idea where i am or what im doing. but then i think maybe i should just kill myself and get it over with but i just dont know, its like i cant even make tiny little decisions anymore. why am i like this? i must be doing things that make people hate me. what shoulld i do? Open Question: PLEASE help correct my conclusion, 10 points will be given...?
It can be identified from this report that there are long term strategies to develop poetry at Greenwood Primary School but there are areas which may require changes and improvement. Discussions about the national curriculum, national policies and procedures to advance teachers knowledge on the subject have been considered as the main disadvantage of poetry teaching as a whole. The way in which poetry is taught and studied at Greenwood Primary School has helped enrich children?s lives as well as their enthusiasm for the subject. Through an interview with the headteacher at Greenwood Primary School, various points were discovered. Moreover the interview with the headteacher helped to reach and answer the research question. It is clear from the qualitative research that poetry is not neglected at the school, but does require development on teacher training. Interestingly this research has been accomplished on answering the research question, furthermore the study of poetry in primary schools has been analysed to a great extent. However the only limitation with this research is the lack of data to help identify the research question further. Nevertheless this has not prevented the research from reaching its aim. Poetry does not constitute as part of the national curriculum, thus causing difficulties amongst all schools on the subject of teaching poetry to children. As there are no national strategies in place with regards to poetry teaching; despite this Greenwood Primary School have their own long term strategies to help enhance the teaching of poetry. I'm filing my taxes and I'm having trouble with determining my state of residency. it states... Your state of residency is determined by some or all of the following factors (no single factor makes you a resident). It is the state where you: Own or rent your main home (i don't own or rent.. i live with ohio family) Intend to return to if you work elsewhere temporatily (n/a) Maintain your driver's license (Indiana) Register to vote (Indiana) Maintain your primary bank account (ohio) Have strongest family ties (indiana) Your children live and attend school (n/a) Own or run your main business (n/a) So it's either Indiana or Ohio.. I also have Indiana Car insurance but i work in ohio and that's where my w-2 is from. i do plan on switching over my license and insurance soon in 09 but for now everything is indiana. Open Question: How to change primary custody in joint agreement?
My husband has primary custody of his kids, 17 & 16. They have both went to live with their mom, but she cant put them in school. We live in GA, and at the age of 14, the kids can decide where they live. Mom lives in AL. The school wont enroll the kids because she doesnt have primary custody. Dad cant enroll them there because he doesnt live there. They have agreed to let her have primary custody so the kids can go to school, but how do we get it done? The easiest, quickest, and cheapest- BUT LEGAL- way to get this done? I think their mom went to the school raising h*ll. I dont know if she told them about the custody or if they were just asking since they're coming from a different state. (more...)

Open Question: I need to fit in more! How can I get people to be more interested in me?
This is complicated, it's hard for me to understand it let alone explain it, let alone you understand it! But here goes. I used to be a shy and quiet person until half a year ago I woke up one morning and decided to change, and I have. I am now a much more confident person and I can talk to anyone. I am a different person. BUT The problem I have now is that I don't feel that I'm like everyone else. I have about two friends that I have known since primary school, often if one of them has something interesting to say e.g "I punched a teacher in the face" they would direct it at the other one not me! That's only the start of my problems. Were 16 now and everyone in our year "mingles" more. My two best friends have been making friends and talking to more and more people for a long time. I have done the same but no one seems as interested in me as them. Most lunch times at school a large proportion of year 11's hang around in the same place which is half outside and half in a corridor. The people there sometimes stick to a group but sometimes leave and talk to other people. No one is interested in me. I try to stay away from my best friends sometimes because they are often with people I don't like. There are other people I know because I've seen them outside school and stuff If I try to join there "circle" It just doesn't work, I'm never a part of it. I try to join in with what their talking about but I can't because A. I don't know what their talking about, and B. They are not interested in me. My best friend Sam is not so different from me, he isn't shy but he's quite quiet and he doesn't always pay attention to whats going on, he also doesn't touch other boys and pratt around like everyone else but people are ALOT more interested in him than me! Why? I go into town most Saturdays with a group of people, they often walk in a line and ignore me completely! I can't exactly walk on the end and join in because I'm likely to walk into some old woman and/or get run over. There would have been a time when I wouldn't have cared much about this but not now, I want to be the same as everyone else. I can't work out if it's something I'm doing wrong or if it's everyone else's fault. I NEED to fit in, what else can I do to make this happen? i knew a boy from slovakia (europe) and he went to my primary school since year 5 and somehow we ended up at the same secondary school in year 7 we were (sort of) 'friends' (in primary school he was always teasing me and my friends with his other friends) and then in year 8 he left to go back to slovakia and with the stupid person i am i didnt tell him i liked him more than a friend, he liked me more than a friend too but i think he was as shy as me,result - me thinking about him every 2 weeks every month (estimated)! im serious it doesnt go away every month i think about him and i have no way to contact him or anything ive had LOADS of dreams about him is there no way i can stop thinking about him or do these Dreams mean something?, i dont think ill ever see him again : ( the first person i ever really 'loved' (out of other boys who i hated) im 13 btw you probably say its 'hormones' but its not. Open Question: Why can't I get butterflies anymore?
Im 17 and right now in my life I don't fancy anyone - and haven't had the feeling of butterflies in my stomach since I was 14. I used to have loads of crushes - even in primary school when I was below the age of 11. But no girl right now gives me butterflies - even thinking back to the girls I fancied before I don't get butterflies. It's been a very long time since I last had butterflies or fancied someone like I did so often in Primary School/ Secondary school. Is this normal why I can't get them? (more...)

Resolved Question: Atheists: what made you become Atheist?
The reason I'm Atheist is probably because I was born into agnosticism. I didn't really understand much about religion because my family didn't really ever bother with religion and just just taught me the basics in life without the need of explaining it all with any god(s). I did have to go to Christian schools, but only because they were the closest ones. We had to pray in the church that was right next to my primary school. We'd listen to sermons and stuff but I just couldn't understand it because my family never bothered with wasting time with prayer, because they taught me that you need to sort your own problems out yourself. Of course they also taught me to be nice to everyone and even without knowing that it's the right thing to do I instinctively accepted anyone who was of any religion or race. And still to this day I try my best to understand their point of view on things, but in all honesty I find it all far fetched. I don't like to believe a loving God could be as petty as he seems to be in the bible. But, I'd like to ask the Atheists here who believed in a God but no longer do how they came to lose faith in their God? (more...)
