HISTORY OF PHOTOCHROM PRINTS

The photochrom process was initially developed in Switzerland and was spelled without an "e", so the correct original spelling was actually "photochrom". Once the process was introduced in America, the "e" was added to aid pronunciation. A Photochrom is a color photo lithograph, produced from a black-and-white negative. The final prints were created using different color impressions from multiple lithographic stones. The stones used by the publisher Detroit Photographic Company were imported from Bavaria and coated with a special Syrian 'asphaltum' substance that would be chemically sensitized to light, put in contact with a photographic negative, exposed to the sun for up to several hours, then "developed" in oils of turpentine. A separate stone would be made for each color to be used. A minimum of four stones and as many as fourteen stones might be used for a given image.

State Property
State Property "As pop as we may seem," argues Damon Dash, "Roc-A-Fella's just a real famous underground label." This might sound silly coming from the man behind platinum-plus Jay-Z and his pretty-boy protégé, Memphis Bleek, but the State Property soundtrack, which features Beanie Sigel and his Philly family, actually supports this argument. Aside from some off-key harmonizing on "Sun Don't Shine," State Property is low on gimmickry and thick with street-level raps, as befits the 'hood movie it supports. Each member of the crew is awarded ample mic time, but it's Freeway who makes the biggest impact. His solo track, "Goodbye," is built around an old-school sample and features an emotionally charged flow that sounds like a cross between Ghostface Killa and Jay-Z himself. --Rebecca Levine

Out on Bail
Out on Bail Consistently, State Property has held it down musically, since the days the Roc reigned supreme up until now. Headed by Beanie Siegel and Freeway, some of the group's most recent and infectious songs have been put together on "Out On Bail." The gang's all here on this one, as many greats, including M.O.P., Noreaga, and Memphis Bleek rock the mic throughout this solid album. All emcees come correct with rhymes and hooks, while musically the release ranges from the rawest of the raw to the smoothest of the smooth. From film, to music, to clothing, State Property has always come on point, and knows what its crowd wants to hear. Things do not change on this release.

Open Question: Were Hitler's co-conspirators in the Middle East ever held accountable?
Arab leaders and many media outlets have long been addicted to comparing Israel to the Nazi regime, while at the same time demeaning the extent of the Holocaust. Every time they instigate another conflict, battle or war with Israel there are cries of Israel's "holocaust" against them as soon as Israel responds. But, there is more than sufficient evidence that the very Arab governments and their citizens that make these false comparisons are in fact descendants of Arabs that conspired along with Hitler to achieve his so-called "final solution" to rid the world of all Jewish people. So, my questions are: 1.) Were Hitler's Arabian co-conspiratorial governments and/or leaders ever held accountable for their participation in The Holocaust or for their illegal confiscation of the homes, property, and businesses and ethnic cleansing of more than 850,000 Jews leading up to, during and after the war? 2.) If they were, how so? 3.) If not, why not? And could the lack of accountability be the reason the Arab states have never recovered from their obsession with defaming antagonizing Jewish people across the globe and their compulsion to destroy Israel? ------------ Just a few sources: http://www.ifapray.org/NaziIslamicFacism/NaziIslamicFascism.html http://www.tellthechildrenthetruth.com/amin_en.html http://www.cdn-friends-icej.ca/antiholo/arabnazi.html http://www.themiddleeastnow.com/musnazi.html Well, I figured I hear from some of our resident Nazi's who actually believe that a few hundred people killed in defense of a country can possibly compare to 6 million people slaughtered just for being who they are. Some of you folks kind of remind me of the Muslim broad in Florida the other day that demanded the Jews "go back to the ovens". http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,477450,00.html Bosco - Thank you for sharing one of the many myths about Jews. You obviously latched onto it because you are one of many who will grasp at anything that appears to validate your unjustified hatred and jealousy for these people. http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/zionmyth2.htm http://www.mega.nu:8080/ampp/zionists.html Oh Soccer Darling - If you want to discuss that issue I would suggest you ask your own question. Your attempt to detract attention from the Arab involvement with Hitler and direct it at "Christians" is just evidence that you hate Christians as much as you do Jews. Surprise, surprise. (more...)

Resolved Question: Do U think illegals should be using a citizens stolen ssn to buy homes get credit cards is the myth over?
Do U think illegals should be using a citizens stolen ssn to buy homes get credit cards is the myth over that with stolen SSN"S illegals can get about and do about anything they want including getting driver's license ?The advocates for illegals do not see this as a threat to America ?Who pays back all this money ? Police arrested a Mesa couple who are suspected of using stolen Social Security numbers to buy and live in a home for five years, authorities said today. According to police, the couple used the Social Security numbers to get credit cards to purchase a home in November of 2003. The husband, David Hererra, 31, furnished the home with a couch and love seat by opening a line of credit with a furniture store using the stolen identity, police said. Police went to the home located in the 1000 block of East Glade Avenue with a search warrant around 6:40 a.m. Wednesday. In the home, police found a false Arizona driver's license and a false Social Security card belonging to Herrera's wife, Veronica Navarrete-Robles, 30, police said. Police said that they found tax forms, pay stubs, bank statements and bills containing the suspect's names along with the stolen numbers. Police said that the stolen property is valued at $117,000. The couple told investigators that they are undocumented immigrants, police said. Navarrete-Robles was booked on two counts of forgery, and Hererra was booked on charges of fraud and identy theft. Police said that the woman could face additional charges if the victims of the identity theft can be located. http://www.azcentral.com/community/mesa/articles/2009/01/08/20090108abrk-idtheft108.html (more...)

Resolved Question: Are these the accounts of the Promise of the land of Canaan to the Israelites?
Numbers 32 The Transjordan Tribes 1 The Reubenites and Gadites, who had very large herds and flocks, saw that the lands of Jazer and Gilead were suitable for livestock. 2 So they came to Moses and Eleazar the priest and to the leaders of the community, and said, 3 "Ataroth, Dibon, Jazer, Nimrah, Heshbon, Elealeh, Sebam, Nebo and Beon- 4 the land the LORD subdued before the people of Israel?are suitable for livestock, and your servants have livestock. 5 If we have found favor in your eyes," they said, "let this land be given to your servants as our possession. Do not make us cross the Jordan." 6 Moses said to the Gadites and Reubenites, "Shall your countrymen go to war while you sit here? 7 Why do you discourage the Israelites from going over into the land the LORD has given them? 8 This is what your fathers did when I sent them from Kadesh Barnea to look over the land. 9 After they went up to the Valley of Eshcol and viewed the land, they discouraged the Israelites from entering the land the LORD had given them. 10 The LORD's anger was aroused that day and he swore this oath: 11 'Because they have not followed me wholeheartedly, not one of the men twenty years old or more who came up out of Egypt will see the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob- 12 not one except Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite and Joshua son of Nun, for they followed the LORD wholeheartedly.' 13 The LORD's anger burned against Israel and he made them wander in the desert forty years, until the whole generation of those who had done evil in his sight was gone. 14 "And here you are, a brood of sinners, standing in the place of your fathers and making the LORD even more angry with Israel. 15 If you turn away from following him, he will again leave all this people in the desert, and you will be the cause of their destruction." 16 Then they came up to him and said, "We would like to build pens here for our livestock and cities for our women and children. 17 But we are ready to arm ourselves and go ahead of the Israelites until we have brought them to their place. Meanwhile our women and children will live in fortified cities, for protection from the inhabitants of the land. 18 We will not return to our homes until every Israelite has received his inheritance. 19 We will not receive any inheritance with them on the other side of the Jordan, because our inheritance has come to us on the east side of the Jordan." 20 Then Moses said to them, "If you will do this?if you will arm yourselves before the LORD for battle, 21 and if all of you will go armed over the Jordan before the LORD until he has driven his enemies out before him- 22 then when the land is subdued before the LORD, you may return and be free from your obligation to the LORD and to Israel. And this land will be your possession before the LORD. 23 "But if you fail to do this, you will be sinning against the LORD; and you may be sure that your sin will find you out. 24 Build cities for your women and children, and pens for your flocks, but do what you have promised." 25 The Gadites and Reubenites said to Moses, "We your servants will do as our lord commands. 26 Our children and wives, our flocks and herds will remain here in the cities of Gilead. 27 But your servants, every man armed for battle, will cross over to fight before the LORD, just as our lord says." 28 Then Moses gave orders about them to Eleazar the priest and Joshua son of Nun and to the family heads of the Israelite tribes. 29 He said to them, "If the Gadites and Reubenites, every man armed for battle, cross over the Jordan with you before the LORD, then when the land is subdued before you, give them the land of Gilead as their possession. 30 But if they do not cross over with you armed, they must accept their possession with you in Canaan." 31 The Gadites and Reubenites answered, "Your servants will do what the LORD has said. 32 We will cross over before the LORD into Canaan armed, but the property we inherit will be on this side of the Jordan." 33 Then Moses gave to the Gadites, the Reubenites and the half-tribe of Manasseh son of Joseph the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan?the whole land with its cities and the territory around them. 34 The Gadites built up Dibon, Ataroth, Aroer, 35 Atroth Shophan, Jazer, Jogbehah, 36 Beth Nimrah and Beth Haran as fortified cities, and built pens for their flocks. 37 And the Reubenites rebuilt Heshbon, Elealeh and Kiriathaim, 38 as well as Nebo and Baal Meon (these names were changed) and Sibmah. They gave names to the cities they rebuilt. 39 The descendants of Makir son of Manasseh went to Gilead, captured it and drove out the Amorites who were there. 40 So Moses gave Gilead to the Makirites, the descendants of Manasseh, and they settled there. 41 Jair, a descendant of Manasseh, captured their settlements and called them Havvoth Jair. [a] 42 And Nobah captured Kenath and its surr ::: ::: ::: It states around 32:23 that if the promise is not fulfilled, then they have sinned in the eyes of the lord. My question to you is, Have they accurately fulfilled the promise, and deserve the land? Take you time. Please no hate. You don't have to read the whole thing. It is just the chapter about the covenant of the land of Israel I believe. Unfortunately I got no answers I was looking for... And first guy, its ok, I didn't ask you to read all of it. Resolved Question: What would you do if you were in this situation?
When I was 15 years old, I was visiting my father in Oklahoma. He had divorced my mom and had married a woman who was a Principal of a school. My family is from the North- Boston. When I was visiting out there, my step mom started getting threatening phone calls and letters. Yankee Go Home. Then she hired some black teachers and all hell broke lose. A burning cross was put on the front lawn. One of the kids keyed a swatstika on her Mercedes. The family dog was stolen- a German shepherd mix. My dad had guns in the house and taught me how to use them. He had Rugers, Winchesters, military rifles. He got a retired police dog German Shepherd when the other dog was taken. My dad began teaching me how to use all the rifles and we went to target practice and ranges. One night, someone tried to break into the house. I thought I saw the person pull out a hand gun to try and shoot me, so I shot him once in the chest and once in the head. The family of the person I killed had me brought into court. I was acquitted by a jury on the grounds that it was self defense, the person was an intruder on our property and the person was armed with the intent to commit an armed robbery. In Oklahoma, I was accepted like I was a local hero. All the Yankee comments stopped once I killed that burgler. The threats stopped against my step mother and the kids had a new found respect for her and my family. However, for every person I tell up in the Liberal North East in the People's Republic of Massachusetts, I get a different reaction. You are a vigilante. You were wrong. He was only threatening you with that hand gun. He wouldn't have shot you. You can't take the law into your own hands. Many of these people that say this are lawyers and public defenders. So let me ask you. What if your family had been threatened with death threats on the phone and in the mail? What if your dog had been hauled off in a pick up truck? What if you were facing an armed robber in the dark who was pointing a gun at you? By the way, the day they buried the man I killed, my step mom's dog was mysteriously returned out of the back of an unmarked pickup truck. And I don't believe you Gig Line. My uncle was a Marine and you are a disgrace to the uniform- and I'll bet that isn't even your picture you wimp! (more...)

Resolved Question: Middles east - why is nothing being done.........?
Day 5: more rockets fired into Gaza - targeting civilians and the infrastructure. With the world sending aid to the palestinians - israel blocks it - there is no aid coming into Gaza - there is a extremely minimal food and water for the people - if any. And yet Israel blocks the aid - food, medicine, water. Gaza has become a modern day concentration camp. So when you celebrating new years - fireworks in the sky - just spare a thought for the palestinian children/ women/ men who are having them fired at them and their property. This is SURELY a crime being committed before our own eyes - aid being blocked, hundreds of palestinians dead. Why is the world not standing up to Israel - the new superpower of the world? (more...)

Resolved Question: MALAY SPEAKERS PLEASE HELP TRANSLATE?
PLEASE TRANSLATE THIS ENGLISH INTO MALAY PLEASE? THANKS!!!! The national flower of Malaysia is the hibiscus, or bunga raya. The flower is found in abundance throughout the country, and for this very reason, was chosen to be the national flower (in 1960) by Malaysia's first Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman. There are many varieties of the hibiscus, but the five-petaled Hibiscus rosa sinensis was chosen above the others, as the most symbolically relevant. The five petals of the bunga raya symbolise the Rukunegara (the Five Principles of Nationhood), while the colour red represents courage. It is believed that the flower first arrived in Malaysia via trade from its original home in the Far East sometime before the 12th century. The national flower, bunga raya, is known for its medicinal properties. The roots of the plant are used as a cure for fever and other ailments, while the juice obtained from the leaves and roots is said to be effective in relieving skin eruptions and glandular troubles. Also, the petals were commonly used as cosmetics to darken and highlight women's eyebrows. (more...)
