The Travel Hammock ParaSheet Beach Blanket
The Travel Hammock ParaSheet Beach Blanket The premier beach blanket on the market today, the ParaSheet is perfect for the shore, the park, or the campsite. The ParaSheet is made of sturdy parachute nylon, with patented bottom sand pockets that let you easily secure the blanket in place. The built-in stuff sack, meanwhile, makes transport a breeze, as the blanket folds easily and compactly. Best of all, the blanket's nylon construction stays cool on hot summer days.

The corner sand pockets help keep the blanket in place.
Just throw it in your beach bag and off you go, with no more heavy towels to weigh you down. Also outfitted with a side pocket for storage, the blanket cleans easily in the washing machine and dries quickly on the laundry line, and is mildew-resistant. The ParaSheet--which measures 7 by 7 feet and weighs 16 ounces--stores easily in the trunk of your car or in the corner of your beach bag.

Cabin Fever
Cabin Fever A sneaky and surprisingly smart horror flick, Cabin Fever sets up all the cliches of its particular subgenre (what might be called the "sexy young people go into the woods" horror movie, featuring hostile redneck locals, dead animals on hooks, cars that suddenly stop running, etc.) and by the end has played a clever twist on every standard element, often to darkly comic effect. What's the plot? Well, five sexy young people (Rider Strong, Jordan Ladd, Joey Kern, Cerina Vincent, and James DeBello) go to an isolated cabin where they contract a nasty bacteria that eats their flesh; this, combined with a bad-tempered dog and a party-loving police deputy (Giuseppe Andrews, giving a particularly funny performance), leads everyone into confusion and bloody chaos. Some of the ironic twists are a little obvious, but most of them effectively subvert your expectations to entertaining effect. --Bret Fetzer

Wolf Creek (Unrated Widescreen Edition)
Wolf Creek (Unrated Widescreen Edition) Wolf Creek, written and directed by Greg McClean, is the Blair Witch Project of the Australian outback. Capitalizing on the human fear of becoming lost in the wilderness, in this case a desert crater called Wolf Creek National Park, this graphic horror film exploits the handheld camera to capture the grotesque actions of Mick Taylor (John Janatt), a sadistic serial killer. When a hip twenty-something guy, Ben Mitchell (Nathan Phillips), and two hippie-ish girls, Cassandra (Liz Hunter) and Kristy (Kestie Morassi), take a road trip and their car breaks down, they have no choice but to accept help from Mick, an eccentric rural Aussie, who, like a spider, tows them into his nightmarish lair. Mick hunts kangaroos and hates tourists, translating his fetish for knives, shotguns, and other torture devices into a need to kill humans as if they're vermin infesting his majestic landscape. Ample blood and gore leave the viewer feeling nearly as sick as the girls who are forced to watch each other die. Like Hannibal Lecter in The Silence of the Lambs, Mick Taylor is a savvy, calculating killer, despicable but psychologically fascinating. --Trinie Dalton

Open Question: Australians...I am thinking of selling tables that fold up in a bag to take to the beach, camping,?
bbq's, park, picnic etc. They are really cool, high quality, come in wood or alum...weigh 2 kilos The table's dimensions are as follows: 27"sq, width 27", Ht 16" and depth 27" and folds up into this very small sachel. My question is how much would you be willing to pay for such a thing? My friend invented it and we are trying to figure out what to price it at. thanks in advance. sorry about the inches...they are nothing like a card table or the camping tables provided in the website on the answer below...I can't reveal too much since I don't want the idea swiped but your answers so far have been really helpful, it is really a totally new thing. Open Question: RV Camping Williams, AZ?
I plan on visiting the Grand Canyon and would like to take the train from Willaims AZ to it. I was wondering what good campgrounds with 50amp service and cable tv and more shade the better are in the area. I know about the train's rv park, but it seems like a parking lot style park. Thank you! Also I plan on staying anywhere from 2 nights to 14 nights..Depends on the park. (more...)

Open Question: Wild Camping in Norway?
Planning a motorcycle trip to Norway in the Summer. To cut on costs and further enhance the adventurous nature of the trip I'm planning to do some "wild camping". I understand that you are supposed to ask permission to set up camp if you are in sight of, or less than 150m from any buildings, otherwise you can camp practically anywhere. I intend to park as close to the bike as possible, so would it be completely unreasonable to set up camp by the road side? (more...)

Voting Question: Where can I live in an RV or truck in or near Mountain View, CA?
I have a fairly nice looking Toyota pickup with a camper shell on the back with a bed and some storage areas. It looks like any other pickup with a camper shell and I was hoping to live out of it to save on rent. That said, I was considering purchasing an actual RV to live out of instead... In either case I'm trying to figure out where I can live like this in or near Mountain View, CA (or anywhere in CA if the laws are statewide). I figured there might be a campground or if a friend would let me park in their driveway or yard. How does this, or could this work? I am gainfully employed and attending grad school... I like camping and figured I could just save some cash this way by using a gym membership and the library for my day to day activities. Thanks! (more...)

Voting Question: I am 15 and I feel I have depression. What are my options? Please read and help?
Ok so I am a freshman in highschool. I'm a guy and I'd say I'm social and outgoing. I go to movies with friends, I have a facebook, I have met a good amount of new people at my high school -- but lately I've been getting depressed. I went to a school from 1st-8th grade and by the time we were in 8th grade my classmates and I were all like one big family. I have so many fun memories at that school and I was sad to be leaving but I had a blast 8th grade year. My summer was pretty good too and when school started it was alright because I thought high school would be scarier. But early November I started thinking a lot of all my memories as a little kid at my old school and how I grew up there and had so many good times there. Please note that when we graduated, only about 5 of the people in my class went to the same high school as me. Most of us split up and I stay in touch with a couple but we're nowhere near as close as we used to be. That makes me sad. After I thought about those memories I started thinking about even more. Things like playing catch with my dad at the park, going on vacations with the family, going to the zoo with my mom. I know some of this is corny but these memories really made me sad to know that time is flying by and I'll never experience the joy of the zoo like I used to or I'll never experience going to the same park and playing with my dad... Not every night, but sometimes I have trouble going to sleep because I'm just thinking about life and so many fun memories I had and that makes me sad because I'm in high school now. The friends I have in high school are ok but they are not anywhere as great as the ones I was with for 9 years at my old school and then we all pratically went our seperate ways. I still have good times. For winter break, I was at my cousin's for a week and we went to the mall with some of his friend's, we saw movies and we stayed up late. It was great but then about a day after I got back home...I already thought about those fun times and then I realized I have to go back to school in a couple days because winter break is about to end. Another thing that makes me sad is me and a certain friend. We were really close and really cool with each other at my old school and we hung out in the summer and he was pretty much my best friend for a couple months. He goes to the same high school as me but now we barely talk and don't hang out. We still like each other but we just kinda drifted and I'm sad to think our friendship is never going to be as good as it was. So I don't know if anyone can relate to this but I don't see how to break this phase... Thinking of memories make me so sad, but I can't stop thinking of them. I would love to go back in time. My life isn't horrible and my parents and friends are wonderful but I just wish I could go back to my old school and be with my friends that I was with from 1st-8th grade. I also wish time wouldn't go by so fast and that I could enjoy the zoo with my mom again or go to the summer camp that I used to have so much fun at. So what can I do and what are my options? I have NO thoughts of hurting myself or comitting suicide. I could never do such a thing and like I said, I still have fun times with friends. It's just that after I have had the fun time, I think about it and I realize that it's over and will be another memory =( And I also get depressed at thinking of times when I was little and just so many other things. What should I do and what can I do? How can I ease the depression or hopefully get rid of it. I wish I could go back in time so bad... Please post anything helpful. Sorry to write such a LONG message (more...)
