Open Question: How much would a month long holiday to the US cost?
I plan to fly to LA, and travel cross-country by coach and train through the Southwest, South and up the east to Boston before flying back to LA and then back home to Australia. I plan to stay in fairly affordable accommodation, and don't mind staying in hostels, camping etc. I haven't calculated or consulted a travel agent or anything, and just wonder roughly how much I would need not including airfare if I were to go for a month-long, self-guided cross country tour of the States. I work for a local newspaper and every month we do some type of charity event that the community can get involved in. For November we had a food drive. The community brought in canned food items and at the end of the month we took them to our local food bank. In December we had the community donate their leftover Christmas cards. At the end of December we sent them to a camp for foster children..They recycle the cards into different crafts and gifts. Does anyone have any ideas for January or February? Or for any other months? We would like it to be themed around the big holiday that month, but it's not necessary. Thanks! (more...)

Open Question: Where can i find boots like this?
in last holiday with queen latifah, she wore these big fluffy white boots in a scene closer to the end of the movie. I was wondering if anyone knew where i might find boots like those. They're extremely fluffy, and snowy white. Open Question: Un site de camping avec mobil-home en France / Bretagne ?
Hello. I am looking for a nice site with Canvas holidays or Keycamp etc. to stay in a mobile home. Have a young family - ages up to 11. Prefer to be next to nice clean beach probably in Brittany. Nice restaurant or pub on site would be good. Friendly staff in restaurant and site would be good. Reasonably large emplacements and caravans with end lounges would be great. Good facilities on site like waterpark but maybe not too many as dont want hordes of teenagers ! Also if the campsite runs a kids club that would be good. And also nice places to visit nearby or to cycle to. I know its quite a lot to ask but can anyone recommend a site ? We have stayed the last three years at St Cast, Benodet and De La Baie at Trinite sur Mer. They all had great things going for them but each had something negative too. (more...)

Open Question: bad situation with boy. what do i do?
alright so theres this boy who was in one of my classes and we were friends, and over time became hell close, just as best friends, and he got a girlfriend and everything was great cas i didnt see him in that way and then what happened was we went on camp together and we became even closer and he got cut afterwards and he wouldnt tell anyone why. he then explained to me that it was cas he liked me and he hated for doing this to me and to his girlfriend cas it wasnt right. then i spent two weeks or so convincing him to stay with her cas i was also her friend and i didnt want to get involved. so things were a little tense but we still talked to each other, sat next to each other etc. and then he told me that he was going to break up with her cas he couldnt stop thinking about me and so he did and then i told him nothin was going to happen cas i wasnt gonna hook up with him straight away so they got back togther.... basically now thats its holidays they broke up and then i went over to his house like two weeks into the holidays and we hooked up and all this but we've both argued with each other about everything. what should i do. because i now also feel insanely bad and guilty towards his girlfriend even though they've broken up. but i really like him. thoughts anyone?
