Think "Roy Lichtenstein" and you probably conjure up comic strip-based paintings and the colorful dots that comprise them. Lichtenstein intended his now iconic depictions of characters in tense, dramatic situations as commentaries on modern man's plight, in which the media--magazines, television, and advertisements--shapes everything, including our emotions. On 31/10/2008 I bought a Q2612A toner from (HP) esteemed concern which was replaced on 3rd December 2008 for the vertical line came out in every print. The replaced or repaired toner serial no. is 1008032. From very first day after installed replaced or repaired toner is not up to the mark and from 17th December 2008, again this vertical line has been coming out in every print. For which I have been failing to print necessary documents because the vertical line which has been coming out in the print is looking very odd. This is the first time I have been facing trouble with this toner. I have checked my printer with another toner collecting from one of friends and print is ok which has proved that the printer is OK. I went to HP Service Center (2, Ripon Street, CMC Building, Kolkata - 700016) with this problem where after testing the toner they refused me (Case ID: ININDARC14001008154, Date: 12/18/2008). I registered a complaint through ?HP online Register a complaint form? (http://h20526.www2.hp.com/cchs/forms/SubmitCase_EU.asp) and sent an e-mail to soni.asthana@hp.com, indiaarc.helpdesk@hp.com along all the documents of purchased bill and sample test paper regarding this faulty toner (Q2612A) but after that there is no Response from HP still now. I've picked up a Miniature Edition of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. On the 3rd sheet in it has the following printed: 'MacMillan & Co Limited 1907' On the reverse side of this sheet the following is printed: 'The first edition of Alice's Adventures was published in 1865. The "Miniature Edition" appeared in 1907' These are the only date references I can find in the book. However, there is a hand written note on the inside front cover "Molly Roy, 1928" to add to the confusion. It seems as though there may have been inscriptions in pencil underneath which have been rubbed out in the past prior to this though so this could suggested it was preowned before the inscription was written. I just want to make sure of the printing date. If anyone has a miniature edition like mine (red leather cover with gilt title and illustration of alice) could they please let me know if there is an obvious printing date of later editions? A number of 12-year-old girls were beginning to use lipstick and would put it on in the bathroom. That was fine, but after they put on their lipstick, they would press their lips to the mirror leaving dozens of little lip prints. Every night the maintenance man would remove them, and the next day the girls would put them back. Finally the principal decided that something had to be done. She called all the girls to the bathroom and met them there with the maintenance man. She explained that all these lip prints were causing a major problem for the custodian who had to clean the mirrors every night (you can just imagine the yawns from the little princesses). To demonstrate how difficult it had been to clean the mirrors, she asked the maintenance man to show the girls how much effort was required. He took out a long-handled squeegee, dipped it in the toilet, and cleaned the mirror with it. Since then, there have been no lip prints on the mirror. I am Nirupam Roy, credit card no. xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx, had received the e-statement of Manhattan credit card for the month of August 2008 and surprised to see the bill amount Rs. 2499.95 (BHARTI CELLULAR LTD KOLKATA). I had contacted with MANHATTAN card department (helpme@manhattan.co.in) regarding this matter. They sent me dispute declaration form and told me that send us the scanned dispute form duly filled, signed & clear copy of the front & back of the card along with this form to our email id. I don?t know the transaction date, Merchant name(knew through the e-statement of Manhattan credit card), reference number, so how will I fillup the dispute declaration form? I did not purchase anything last 2/3 months through this credit card and the credit card store in my personal file at all times. Who will bear the miscellaneous expenses (print, scan, internet & valuable times) for the unexpected harassment bill that was not my fault? I requested to the bank, please send me the copy of Merchant?s bill on which basis you debited the amount from my credit card but they did not response. Bank is bounding to me fill up the dispute declaration form as per sent their e-statement otherwise they can?t do anything without the scanned copy of the duly signed Dispute Declaration Form (DDF) and I have to pay the outstanding dues. Should I fillup the dispute declaration form and send clear copy of the both side of the card along with this form ? Where I will send the complain regarding this matter ?
