Hoot Gibson Busts White Collar Criminals in Local Badman DVD (1932) Also Starring Sally Blane, Hooper Atchley, and Edward Hearn.
Hoot Gibson Busts White Collar Criminals in Local Badman DVD (1932) Also Starring Sally Blane, Hooper Atchley, and Edward Hearn. Local Badman is a fast paced and clever western, which is the calling card of a good Hoot Gibson cowboy adventure. Some unscrupulous bankers are running out of money, so they decide to rob themselves! Boarding large sums on a train, the white collar criminals pull off the theft and blame the train driver, doubling their principal amount by insurance fraud. Hoot Gibson, ever a cowboy who would use his brains before his fists, sets to work on figuring out the scheme. Local Badman would be enjoyable enough just because of classic Hoot Gibson as the lead, but the well crafted plot also works to perfection.

LDAP System Administration
LDAP System Administration Be more productive and make your life easier. That's what LDAP System Administration is all about. System administrators often spend a great deal of time managing configuration information located on many different machines: usernames, passwords, printer configurations, email client configurations, and network filesystem configurations, to name a few. LDAPv3 provides tools for centralizing all of the configuration information and placing it under your control. Rather than maintaining several administrative databases (NIS, Active Directory, Samba, and NFS configuration files), you can make changes in only one place and have all your systems immediately "see" the updated information. If you want to be a master of your domain, LDAP System Administration will help you get up and running quickly regardless of which LDAP version you use. After reading this book, even with no previous LDAP experience, you'll be able to integrate a directory server into essential network services such as mail, DNS, HTTP, and SMB/CIFS.

Memos to the Governor: An Introduction to State Budgeting
Memos to the Governor: An Introduction to State Budgeting With a new foreword by New York's former governor, Mario Cuomo, this revised and updated edition of Memos to the Governor is a concise guide book that takes the reader behind governmental fiscal gobbledygook to explain in clear, understandable prose the technical, economic, and political dynamics of budget making. At all levels of government, the budget has become the battleground for policymaking and politics. This book helps current and future public administrators untangle the knotty processes of budget preparation and implementation. Dall W. Forsythe, who served as budget director under Governor Cuomo, outlines the budgeting process through a series of memos from a budget director to a newly elected governor--a format that helps readers with little or no background to understand complicated financial issues. He covers all of the steps of budget preparation, from strategy to execution, explaining technical vocabulary, and discussing key topics including baseline budgeting, revenue forecasting, and gap-closing options. Forsythe brings fresh insights into such issues as the importance of a multiyear strategic budget plan, the impact of the business cycle on state budgets, the tactical problems of getting budgets adopted by, legislatures, and, of course, the relationship between governor and budget officer. Memos to the Governor is a painless, practical introduction to budget preparation for students of and practitioners in public administration and public-sector financial management.

Open Question: Can someone give me some information on scanners? (NOT image, I'm talking radio)?
I've been considering buying one for some time now and am just coming into the money for a decent one. Does anyone have any suggestions as far as brands or what I should be looking for? A price I should expect to pay? Online or in-store purchase? I would like to listen to the local PD and/or FD. Possibly even the airport air traffic. What other interesting things could I possibly pick up with one of these? I know nothing about them so any help would be appreciated. Especially appreciated if someone can cover all the above questions. :) (more...)

Open Question: Is there any basic information regarding dealing with an elder suffering dementia, who is causing issues?
I currently work Security at a high-rise apartment complex, and recently received several complaints regarding a tenant yelling at people who aren't really there in the hallways. She claims random events taking place and babbling on about off-the-wall things. In my position I can only ask and request that she return to her residence, and inform her of her actions causing disturbances among the rest of the tenants. Though is there any other information I could go along with? Perhaps even a local medical number to call that could ring up any potential information? Sorry, just in desperation since I'm unable to identify the woman, or any medical issues she might have since she refuses to change her subjects. Thanks. (more...)

Open Question: What are the average bandwidth statistics for various Internet applications?
I'd like to know very basic bandwidth statistics for online applications, such as Webcamming (Yahoo! or other), online gaming (MMOs, FPSs), and BitTorrrent apps. We're having a discussion in my office, and quite a few folks that Webcam say the MMOers (WoW for example) eat up too much bandwidth. I, however, think that Webcamming actually eats up more bandwidth because it streams the voice and graphic information while online games tend to stream less information since most of the game data is already on the local machine. Open Question: Subdomain or new domain name?
I have a website that generates over 60,000 hits a year. It promotes a local therapy business and gives lots of free information on anxiety and emotional disorders. I don't want to turn that site into an ad-fest or link based sales site as I feel this would comprimise my professional appeal as a "local" therapist. However with the site generating so many hits I am thinking about the potential for affilliate business selling other peoples anti-anxiety products with links. I would like to build a new site giving free detailed information on how to beat anxiety with suggestions for reputable decent self help products. My domain name is a good one though and I wonder if it is wise to use a subdomain for this purpose or go for an entirely new domain altogether. I'm wondering how subdomains fare in terms of search engine ranking? Will I be penalised for using a sudbdomain? Will it make a difference to World Wide ranking if I use a .co.uk as opposed to a .com? (more...)

I really need help with this! I need some help before 10:00 you guys! Plz help me out! The owner of the Green Pepper, a local restaurant, offers you a deal that is also based on a flat rate for the use of a party room and a per-person rate to feed each guest. After meeting with this restaurant owner, you are looking over your notes and realize that you forgot to write down the room rental charge and per-meal cost. In your notes, however, you have some infromation that can help you reconstruct this information: 50 guests would cost $487.50, 75 guests would cost $706.25 and 110 guests would cost $1012.50. * Can you use the above information to determine the FLAT RATE for the PARTY ROOM RENTAL and the PER PERSON COST for each meal? [ This requirs some good mathematical "detective work"] Come on you guys! I know someone knows how to do this! Please help me out! Will really appreciate it, thanks! Oh yea, if you are familiar with the y-intercept formula, you should be able to get this easily! y-intercept formula is : y= mx +b (more...)
