Though promoted as a "full length holiday movie," this is more of a TV Christmas special spinoff from Disney's new series, House of Mouse. The premise is something like an animated Muppet Show: Mickey, Goofy, and Donald run a nightclub for an audience of Disney characters, with plenty of songs, skits, and cartoons. There's not much story to this holiday special--Mickey whips up an impromptu party for stranded guests and instills a "Humbug"-quacking Donald with the holiday spirit--but it's full of sight gags and comic bits with dozens of Disney characters, from Ludwig von Duck to Pumba and Timmon. The special begins with the short Pluto's Christmas Tree and ends with the entire 1983 short film Mickey's Christmas Carol. However, the highlight is a comic retelling of The Nutcracker with Donald as a reluctant Mouse King (complete with phony Mickey Mouse ears) and John Cleese as the exasperated narrator. Two German children, aged five and six, have been stopped from running away to Africa get married, say police. Mika and Anna-Bell got together their swimming costumes, sunglasses and a lilo and headed for the airport. They even thought to take Anna-Bell's seven-year-old sister with them to be an official witness at their wedding. But a guard called police when he saw them at Hanover railway station and the travelling trio were persuaded they'd need money and tickets to reach Africa. Police spokesman Holger Jureczk told reporters the young couple were "very much in love" and had decided to get married in Africa "where it is warm". Anna-Bell and Mika came up with the idea as their families celebrated New Year's eve together and Mika told the two sisters all about a recent holiday to Italy. The next morning, they crept out of the house while their parents slept, walked about half a mile to the local tram station and hopped on a tram to the railway station. Parents relieved They were about to get on a train to the airport when their African adventure came to an end as a guard got suspicious when he spotted them on their own with all their summer gear and called the police. Now Mika and Anna-Bell's wedding plans have been put on hold, but they did get to have a tour of the police station while they waited for their relieved parents to collect them (more...)

I am 38 years old and have found myself having to cutting off my abusive elderly parents. My parents have always been abusive. All my life they have been abusive physically and psychologically as a young child my father would tie me up with rope hang my upside down to a door knob by my feet and belt the soles of my feet and body as punishment while my mother watched and encouraged. He would belt me and leave cuts on my body. He would stomp on me and punch me leaving burses. My mother also would punch me, kick me, stomp on me, scratch me with her nails, spit on me or send me to primary school with no food as punishment. Both of them would tell me I am stupid, it was a disaster I was born, you?re a dog and other very nasty verbal abuse. Toys I were given were smashed by my mother as punishment. As I child I hated them both. I moved away from them at 19 and have kept in contact. I gave them little personal life detail as my mother was always confrontational or had a opinion I did not need. It took me most of my 20's to get over my rough childhood. I forgave them both for all my childhood misgivings. I got married 6 years ago to the women of my dreams we have 2 children now and I have a successful job nice house. Since being married I have tried to involved my parents more in my life so my kids can have grandparents. They have not shown a lot of interest. From the beginning my mother and farther have been rude, nasty and insulting to wife regularly. My wife has forgiven them for my sake each time. My mother is an incredibly jealous woman, when she becomes jealous she gets nastier and she makes up lies and rumour to other relatives about my wife and I. We went on an overseas holiday and since finding out she became more rude, nasty and insulting from her jealousy. She says things like your a woman, your too nice to your wife put the money on your mortgage. When I tell her to stop saying thing like that she tells me I am not her son I don't want you at my funeral. Then my father will tell me god will punish you for answering back to your mother. They have caused me feelings of depression over the last few years, I have taken anti-depression pills and it has put a lot of stress on my marriage. My father was siding with me for a change so my mother lied to him and told him I hit her years ago that is a total lie. I told him this is a lie. She told this lie to my only sister and her (scond) husband. He was defending her so foolishly I told him some of the nasty thing she has been also saying about him. My sister is now not taking to me for doing this and I am sure my mother has encorraged her. I have apologiesd over the phone, email and text she has not contacted me. I haven't spoken to them in 6 months nor have they contacted me nor did we communicate over Christmas? I fell like I am cutting them off forever but I feel guilty due their age both in there 70's. I still want a relashionship with my sister she has ignored my attempts. What should I do? (more...)

A couple of years ago, during the school holidays, i used to stay with my mum during work and there was this game i used to play but i cant remember what it was called. i know that at the beginning of the game, it started of with the main character (a criminal about to rob this mansion), and he is sitting in his car, he then gets out his brolly (umbrella), which is actually something like an abseil which he uses to climb into a library/study in the mansion. the mansion from memory, belongs to and old man who recently died. when the main character (which you have to help escape) finds himself stuck in the study room when the window wont open, he decides to use the front door, on his way sneaking about, he finds a blonde female jounralist, (her and her crew are also stuck in the house after coming to get scoop about the old man who used to live there), a young school boy who climb over to fetch a ball him and his mates accidently kicked over and a young man, they are all stuck in the house (though they can go through the back yard, which there is a pool and a shed there). Also, at one point in the game, when they are all asleep, the criminal has a dream where he awakes and goes out to the hallway where he finds all the other dead and blood everywhere, when the murderer reaveals who he is under neath his mask, it turns out it is him (the criminal), then the dream is over. ANYWAY! my question is does ANYONE know what this is game is???? even if the smallest bit of info would help.!! (more...)

He is soo sweet and i really liked him to begin with then thought we should try and get to know each other more as friends first. well i go with (john) and his family out of town and hang out at there houses on holidays , he even come out of town with my fam... we hang out and stay at eachothers houses but nothings gone futher than a few kisses. he always calls as i do to. but now i feel like if i dont make a move soon i may loose him to another girl, he's not talking to anyone but he would be a great catch for any woman.. all my friends say just tell him how you feel, he has to feel the same but im afraid he may not feel the same. and then again i dont wanna loose him as a friend by making things weird. im also really shy about relationship crap, and dont know how to even bring the subjuct up. so any suggestions would probably help me out and thank u so much i know it was a lot to read but it will help me sooooo much. That was our agreement, and then she started sending me vids about herself and asking me different ways that she could get into the country (student exchange or sh*t like that). After I told her I had a girlfriend, she didn't seem that interested in practicing her English with me. My parent's told me to keep away from her otherwise I'd be kicked out of the house. (We're in different countries though!). I tried to explain to her that my girlfriend saw my emails and she got mad... but then at the same time, I wanted to continue to help her. So I kept emailing her and sending her new songs (because she likes English music). Just recently, over my holidays she asked for a favor, if I could help her with an assignment... Well, overall she's too demanding now... I promised that I'd help her with English but then she wants me to teach her French and help her with a Database assignment??? My Exes family members constantly ignore my wishes about contacting me prior to visits with her and they are now imposing in on my mother sense they found out she is the one who watches my daughter while Im away at work. I have repeatedly sent letters asking that they call or contact me first before they come unannounced to my mothers house seeking to visit with my daughter, or asking for special time out side of my exes visitation time with her like birthdays and holidays. They refuses to do so and my mother and I cant even go to church with out my daughter crying because she is scared that her AUNT shannon is going to force her to hug her when its clear that She doesn't want anything to do with them.
