Resolved Question: what present should i get my folks for their silver anniversary?
It's gonna be my parents 25th wedding anniversary this jan 17! & im going crazy trying to think of a nice present for them... -_-" i love to shop, but this is one present that really had me thinking the most... i was planning to actually give them a hotel accommodation somewhere a bit far from the city.. just like a hotel in front of a beach or something, but when i tried to asked my mom, she said that they don't have the time for such frivolous stuff... TT_TT *sigh* geez... anyway, any suggestions? (@_@) for folks out there that are already married or whatever, what would you like to receive if its your 25th wedding anniversary from your daughter? ps: reasonable gifts,please... much as i wanna give them the moon, or buy the Eiffel tower, i cant.. Resolved Question: Planning vacation to Dominican Republic. Need suggestions.?
My cousin is getting married in Dominican Republic in June. I am trying to figure out where to stay. Price and location are my main factors. The wedding will be at the Paradisus Punta Cana. I have looked into hotels and renting condos and I'm not sure what route to go. A large number of family will be flying down to attend and some of us could possibly rent a house if the accommodations/price is right. Prefer to be on the beach or very very close. I am looking for any suggestions/recommendations. If you have been to the DR, where did you stay. What were the pro/cons. Also what hotel/restaurant/mall was close to your place of stay. Thankx. What is the typical way people pay for services(dental)in Costa Rica . Do I need to carry some cash and some debit cards. Half on the 1st day half on the last..........Then their is the accommodation issue???I'm on a tight budget so I'm not planning on staying in a "recovery home" I already got two suggestions:Aportel El Sesteo or El Quijote anybody know about this hotels?? And last but no least what do you do for meals? Carry some or eat out for the 9-14 days one is their. please give me some feed back if you have been their. I will be going solo btw March-April.
