Classic World Map Wall Mural
This wall mural displays the official world map of the National Geographic Society features the Winkel Tripel projection, developed to show the round earth on flat paper with minimal distortion. The Classic features blue oceans and the countries have colored borders with white backgrounds. It has the same cartographic detail, accuracy, and artistry for which our other maps are known. Inset maps illustrate vegetation, land use and population density. The map comes in 3 sections and is hung like wallpaper (it includes instructions for installation). It is printed on a durable latex-coated stock. It can be trimmed to accomodate smaller walls, electrical outlets, or any other particular needs. 9' 2" x 6' 4".

Ellis Island History Movie: Immigration DVD (1946)
This 1946 film describes the history and process of European immigration to the United States until 1924 when a restrictive immigration bill was passed. Produced by Encyclopedia Britannica, there is a mixture of actual footage, maps showing the flow of immigration, and reenactments. In one such reenactment, footage captures a scene from a European steamship office that shows the different motivations and immigration issues - religious, political, or economic, that may have driven many Europeans to emigrate. Scenes of Jews being turned out of their houses and of people laboring in fields further illustrates this point. There are also many great scenes from Ellis Island and New York City, including documentation lines, doctor examinations, immigration and naturalization services, and city tenements. This is a nice Ellis island history video, which details the immigration experience. The film notes that these immigrants were helped by the trade unions to learn to work together. Newly naturalized citizens are shown raising their right hands in front of a judge in a courtroom, and the film ends by showing a panning shot of the Statue of Liberty. Typical of the time period, the film glosses over the concerns of Native Americans and immigrants who weren't white. But this only serves to make the film more historically enlightening, as an exploration of racism in American history. But mainly the film is full of great Ellis Island immigration stories.

Open Question: What is this girl`s intent or purpose...?
Girl on my floor. Very nice and kinda cute. Yet, she likes roommate. Talk to her sometimes and she's very nice and open with me (like I did today, I helped her put up a map in her room.) Problem is that later, when me and some people were hanging out in group she came over and I didn't say anything to her and she kinda ignored me. I know, terrible sign-- so she doesn't like me. Not big loss but I remember now she kept talking to me about the other two girls she hangs out with. I told her I think the one is very pretty and she told me to talk to her. She just mentioned things about the other friend.

Open Question: What is this girl's intent/purpose?
Girl on my floor. Very nice and kinda cute. Yet, she likes roommate. Talk to her sometimes and she's very nice and open with me (like I did today, I helped her put up a map in her room.) Problem is that later, when me and some people were hanging out in group she came over and I didn't say anything to her and she kinda ignored me. I know, terrible sign-- so she doesn't like me. Not big loss but I remember now she kept talking to me about the other two girls she hangs out with. I told her I think the one is very pretty and she told me to talk to her. She just mentioned things about the other friend.

Resolved Question: How Should I Spend My Time Studying For Tests?
I have two sets of exams (one in January and one in June). In January, I have math, science, french and one other.
June has Social Studies, and two others.
I am not really stressed out, but just want to know how to spend my time wisely.
I know to prioritize, but also some teachers don't try to help us at all, while some do. They give us a table of specifications, study guides, maps, and stuff that can easily be helpful.

Open Question: FALLOUT 3's monica in megaton?
in fallout 3 i just killed monica in megaton the first place u go and diffuse the bomb she owns a shop with weapons and armer also she sells themes for your house that u get from lucas after diffusing the bomb, and since i killed her it says a quest that is called the wasteland survival guide was failed should i load it back before i killed her because the wast land survival guide might help me (is the quest worth completing or is it not)
also i got a house like i said before from lucas and i don't no where it is it is not on the map so i am clueless
plz help me if u can answer both of these questions honestly then u will get 10 points

Ok heres what it says:
Create your own ILLUSTRATED climate map and match wits with the weather. Using the climate map as your guide, print out a world map and 6 or more photographs of six of the world's climate zones. Use the photos to illustrate your climate map, and color in the climate zones with shades that seem right to you. You might want to use blue for polar regions or red for desert regions etc.
Highlight the lines of latitude on your map. What do you reconize about climate zones and their relationship to latitude.

The project has a packet on facts and stuff well in the back theres 2 world maps with no labels I'm not sure if I'm supposed to use those or print out a world map like it says on the instructions. Well I have most of the photographs of the 6 climate zones I just need help with the map and if I'm supposed to print one out can someone give me a photo of a good one that could work?
