I'm running a weekend youth camp next year within an organization, and all the sites we usually use (scout buildings) are either too far away, or almost derelict. I thought of using a google search, but I have no idea what terms to use to get any useful returns. Are there any directories I could use? How could I find these places: camp sites/youth hostels with bedroom/kitchen etc, that I could exclusively book for a weekend (40 ish kids). (more...)

OK. so the last post that i put up was about my crush at school. On the last week of school of friend of mine and his asked him if he liked me. His response was yeah...i do(he was real shy about it). so my friend told him that he should ask me out because i like him back. He said that he wasn't sure because he didn't know what i would say. so my friend kept bothering him and she asked him what do you want to do? he said tell her wait. that's all he said and i respect that. anyway i'm planning this movie night with friends and i want to invite him. the problem is that his number in the student directory is disconnected. i have a friend that lives two streets away from him. and i also have a friend that sees him during the summer at school because she's at cheerleading camp/practice, and he's at football. i wasn't sure if i should ask them to do it for me. i just don't want the summer to tear what my crush and i already have apart. was his response good or bad? c other post 4 more. I have this friend, he lives like 4 houses away from me on the road, and i have lived here 8 months, he has been round 3/4 times. When ever i invite him he says he is 'busy' on the computer and on msn, when i manage to presuade him to come round he has fun, but then always says he is busy and can't come again for ages. Yesterday me and my other friend, another friend of his who is worried about him set up camp outside his house, we stood outside, let ourselves into his house as he left teh front door open lol, but he shooed us back out. we even got his home number off of directory enquiries and phoned him. he only came out when we called from him once his mum was home, as she made him come out. He hardley ever goes out of his house and i am starting to become really annoyed! The only times he goes out with friends is when it is arranged trips with his religious 'church' group, and they are only once every blue moon. We are worried he is to anti-social, and we are getting angry (more...)

I was at cheerleading camp. (Yes I was a rah rah.) And the football team came walking by...and I saw him... The new kid. My God was he gorgeous... tall , dark handsome. I had to meet him. And so I did. We started dating and he stole my heart... he was my first love. He did break my heart and dated every girl in our senior class... but he came back.. he came looking for me. We dated through the end of our senior year and we went off to college together... we lasted for two years. He was my first. He was beautiful...we shared so much... when I think back.. I only have fond memories. I broke up with him in college because I knew we were not good for one another. I thought he would never amount to much. (He is a colonel in the Marine corps.. who would have thunk it?) Fast forward... 20th high school reunion... he showed up with wife number two (his wife is a bisexual from http://www.biloves.com). He and I did have a private moment.. it was sweet... and then life continued on. Have not talked to him in ages... my college directory shows up in my mail last weekend. I have to look him up. There is an email address.. I write... he answers in five minutes. Tells me to call him. I tell him to call me. He does.. two hours later we hang up. His second divorce will be final in January. My heart kind of skips a beat but knows... it can never be... But during our conversation..we were right back to where we were... do you get that? It was as though the years never existed. We talked as if it were just yesterday we were together. It was so nice to talk to him like that. We hung up and I just smiled... some people touch our lives and will always remain in our hearts...he will continue on..as will I... But it was so nice nice talking to the man who was my first love... to the man I first totally trusted... Do you know where your first love is? (more...)

I am studying to get my MCSE and I want to do a boot camp. I see these 7,14, 21 day bootcamps but they seem to be geared toward IT professionals who have a lot of IT experiance. I know the fundamentals (topologies, OSI model, Directory infrastructures and a few more things)of the MCSE tract and have read a few study guides on the core stuff but I want to move along faster. I don't have the vast knowledge to benifit from one of those quick boot camps but I am trying to see if there is a boot camp out there longer than 21 days that I can benifit from. Any suggestions?
