Access Software has waited a long time to produce Oakland Hills Country Club, one of the world's mailine golf courses. Since its very beginning in the early 1920s, Oakland Hills has made its mark in the annals of golf history. The 1924, 1937, 1951, 1961, 1985 and 1996 US Opens, along with the 1972 and 1979 PGA Championships and the 1981 and 1991 US Senior Opens were all held at this proud venue.
It was at the memorable 1951 US Open - when the South Course was revamped and made almost unbearable by Robert Trent Jones - that it received its nickname, "The Monster." Only two players that year had rounds under par. Ben Hogan's 287 total won the Open and caused him to exclaim his joy at having "brought this course, this MONSTER, to its knees."
Now, in this newest addition to the Links Championship Course lineup, you too can play The Monster and experience for yourself why the 18th at Oakland Hills is considered by many to be "the toughest finishing hole in golf."

Open Question: can i get into an Ivy college?
My first year of my freshmen year was a GPA of a 3.08, the first quarter but i'm hoping to at least make, if not, close to a 4.0. I'm in 1 honors class, I'm the MVP of the golf him, I've broken about 15 school records, I went to state and topped 7 out of 70, i hae almost 200 hours (i get almost 200 every summer not, and an added hours through out the school year) of c-serivce already, Im involved with a lot of school clubs, and with my cruches youth group, i have a part time job already (im not sure if any of this matters) I havent had my SATS yet or done them so i cant tell you that. but if i do really, i mean REALLY good the next three years, i mean honors and AP classes by the time when im a senior, and i was going to take summer classes at a cummunity college, that if i Ace ill get a .25 added to my grade, and get like a 4.2+,which i was going to take three classes, and im planning on at least going to state 1 or 2 times for track, and i plan on winning state at least 2(maybe3) times before college. Can i get into an IVY college or standford? thats what im looking at right now, that have a really good golf team. :)

they need to be cheap, i love my walmart SW it feels like the shaft is very light and the head of the club seems ........ medium heavy...?? does that make sense , either way , i like that feel, what set of irons can i look for like that? please be specific, i know nothing about golf brands.
