Open Question: What type of mic should I get?
Well, a couple buddies of mine and I decided we should make a band. What type of mic should we get that would allow nice sound quality without any rasping, static, buzzing, for an affordable price? We want to record on upload videos on YouTube. Would we need a USB mic for that? But for live performances, we would need the type you plug into an amp....would this have to be a different mic from the one you record on the computer with? And can you plug a mic into any amp? such as a guitar amp? I have no idea what a mixer is or any of that advanced stuff. (more...)
