Open Question: How much gas should our bolier use to power our central heating/ hot water?
We recently moved from a 2 bed property to a 3 bed but since then have noticed a dramatic increase in the amount of gas we're using. I read the meters regularly and we're using nearly 4 times the amount of gas in the new property. Our boiler at the old house was approx 9 years old and we used the heating more than we are doing in this one. The boiler in the new house is not even 2 years old yet but after reading the meter whilst the heating was on it appears it's using 3 cubic meters of gas per hour to heat our home. This is surely too much? Please advise!

Open Question: So many people on here are constantly saying get your dog neutered!?
They are almost 3. They're brothers from the same liter. I won't get them neutered. I refuse. I don't let them run wild, I use a leash and when I have them on our property, I don't sit down and let them run amuck to impregnate other dogs. I am constantly aware of their actions, where they are and what they're doing. So please don't say they will impregnate a female and I would be adding to the growing problem.
Where I come from, most of us don't believe in the pure-bred way. We believe a mut can be just as good of a dog, sometimes even better! People see our dogs and give their numbers to us.. incase we decide to have a liter. I might not take them to ?dog shows?, agility contests, but my dogs excel the natural way, Retrieving & Hunting. Our dogs do good on the field and in the water. I do want to breed them. Why do so many people tell me to neuter when so many others agree with me??
I wish there weren't so many animal abusers out there and all dogs had a home. I am sick of people saying you should neuter your pets. I actually get offended when people tell me I need to neuter my dogs.. if I had to I would keep their entire liter's. I have the means. I know how much money, time, energy it takes to become a breeder! But dogs are survivors, naturally... and my boys are my kids. So just because they?re not AKC... do you think they shouldn?t breed? Because my opinion is that many AKC breeders look down upon people who allow muts to breed.
Sarah, I knew from previous answers you'd answer this. People down here have spend lots of money for a certain breeds. Getting papers about the parents and such. I do know how much effort it takes to breed. My dogs don't have papers. They have out performed many other dogs.. purebreds. I know the parents, and I know how they perform as well. They are mutts and I am not saying this because these are my dogs, I am saying it because they didn't need much training and eveything came so natural. They've been hunting since they were 8 months, and we've got comments on BREEDERS in our area. They're parents even get the same remarks. So putting the AKC aside... why wouldn't these dogs be "breedable"?
I AM A FEMALE... SO MANHOOD HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT IDIOT!!! It's not taking away from them. And I do agree that so many dogs need homes, but I want to breed them because I ALSO want at least two of their offspring. I am not irresponsible to give them to people who won't take care of them... I would keep the liter or liter's to MYSELF if I have to. I love dogs, and I wouldn't put my dogs offspring in harms way. So please save the crap for someone who doesn't have a clue!
Repeat, MY DOGS ARE NOT OFF LEAD. Maybe on my property, but they are well trained and come when I call. They are ALWAYS in sight. They will NOT breed unless I consent to it. I want a mate from them that I know the background. My dogs AREN'T the best dogs for the lady who commented about me wanting to breed because "they're so great", I want them to breed because they are good dogs and again, I WANT THEY'RE offspring. I knew when I posted this I would get the remarks. I am not irresponsible for the 100th time. I would literally have to know the people who would be taking them. BY THE WAY I FOSTOR DOGS FROM OUR LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTER. THEY ALWAYS COME NEUTERED! I will never buy a dog when so many are homeless... I am not cruel.. and I am not blind to the ongoing problem so many unresponsible owners contribute to. So please... don't say I kill dogs, I love them. I wouldn't give any pup to someone unless I know they'd be cared for!!!

I became involved in a personal loan to a homeowner/builder who had knocked down and rebuilt his property. Sense then the market tanked and the home has not sold. The owner/builder has also removed some valueable builtins. The home is now in forcloseure and I now am in need of my 50K investment. I'm the 3rd with a promisary note and short term deed w/ power of sale. The second document is registered w/ the county. What are my options?

Open Question: is the marijuana smoke from my neighbors house dangerous to my daughter?
I live in a victorian home that is divided into apartments. We have a shared ventilation system. We recently got new neighbors who like to smoke the reefer a lot, at least once a day. When they smoke I can smell it in my house. Does smelling marijuana mean that you are inhaling THC or other harmful properties. I have a 15month old daughter and that's who I'm worried about. Please respond with some sort of an educated answer, not just a guess. I have all my friends 'guesses' to go on and they are 50/50.
Just to say, I don't care that they are smoking. I wouldn't ever turn them in and I think it should be legal to smoke marijuana. But that's for a diff forum. I just don't want to expose my child.

The Transjordan Tribes
1 The Reubenites and Gadites, who had very large herds and flocks, saw that the lands of Jazer and Gilead were suitable for livestock. 2 So they came to Moses and Eleazar the priest and to the leaders of the community, and said, 3 "Ataroth, Dibon, Jazer, Nimrah, Heshbon, Elealeh, Sebam, Nebo and Beon- 4 the land the LORD subdued before the people of Israel?are suitable for livestock, and your servants have livestock. 5 If we have found favor in your eyes," they said, "let this land be given to your servants as our possession. Meanwhile our women and children will live in fortified cities, for protection from the inhabitants of the land. 18 We will not return to our homes until every Israelite has received his inheritance. 19 We will not receive any inheritance with them on the other side of the Jordan, because our inheritance has come to us on the east side of the Jordan."
20 Then Moses said to them, "If you will do this?if you will arm yourselves before the LORD for battle, 21 and if all of you will go armed over the Jordan before the LORD until he has driven his enemies out before him- 22 then when the land is subdued before the LORD, you may return and be free from your obligation to the LORD and to Israel. And this land will be your possession before the LORD.
23 "But if you fail to do this, you will be sinning against the LORD; and you may be sure that your sin will find you out. 24 Build cities for your women and children, and pens for your flocks, but do what you have promised."
25 The Gadites and Reubenites said to Moses, "We your servants will do as our lord commands. 26 Our children and wives, our flocks and herds will remain here in the cities of Gilead. 27 But your servants, every man armed for battle, will cross over to fight before the LORD, just as our lord says."
28 Then Moses gave orders about them to Eleazar the priest and Joshua son of Nun and to the family heads of the Israelite tribes. 29 He said to them, "If the Gadites and Reubenites, every man armed for battle, cross over the Jordan with you before the LORD, then when the land is subdued before you, give them the land of Gilead as their possession. 30 But if they do not cross over with you armed, they must accept their possession with you in Canaan."
31 The Gadites and Reubenites answered, "Your servants will do what the LORD has said. 32 We will cross over before the LORD into Canaan armed, but the property we inherit will be on this side of the Jordan."
33 Then Moses gave to the Gadites, the Reubenites and the half-tribe of Manasseh son of Joseph the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan?the whole land with its cities and the territory around them.
34 The Gadites built up Dibon, Ataroth, Aroer, 35 Atroth Shophan, Jazer, Jogbehah, 36 Beth Nimrah and Beth Haran as fortified cities, and built pens for their flocks. 37 And the Reubenites rebuilt Heshbon, Elealeh and Kiriathaim, 38 as well as Nebo and Baal Meon (these names were changed) and Sibmah. They gave names to the cities they rebuilt.
39 The descendants of Makir son of Manasseh went to Gilead, captured it and drove out the Amorites who were there. 40 So Moses gave Gilead to the Makirites, the descendants of Manasseh, and they settled there. 41 Jair, a descendant of Manasseh, captured their settlements and called them Havvoth Jair. It states around 32:23 that if the promise is not fulfilled, then they have sinned in the eyes of the lord.
My question to you is,
Have they accurately fulfilled the promise, and deserve the land?

It began late on sunday afternoon, deep in the woods. Now, I live in the woods, you understand. these are my woods-well,mine and the bank's. i have another forty years to go on my mortage. the point is, the woods are my home and little red was trespassing. Naturally,when i saw her running across my property, i stopped her and asked what she was doing.
