    Hello, I am a Portuguese American living in Bethlehem, PA and I'm looking for a list of Portuguese American resturants in the Newark/Elizabeth NJ area that cater weddings and other parties and are willing to cater the party in Bethlehem, PA. I am planning a birthday party in 2010 for about 120-150 people and then a wedding in 2011 for 300-400 people. I go to Newark every once in a while to do shopping in Little Portugal but the only Resturants that I know of in Newark is Ibeira and Beira Mar of Spain.     Resolved Question: Desperately Need Help on Selfish, Angry Girlfriend!!?
    My girlfriend is extremely selfish. We have been going out for 1 year and we have talked about everything I am about to say yet I never see improvements (maybe a week or two, but always back to the same way). Our sex life has gone down the drain to once a week or less even though she says she will change (trust me when I say its good sex though for both of us. used to all the time). She always takes my love and time for granted. I cater to all her needs and when I don't she throws a fit and will be mad. Everything I do for her, she rarely will do for me. Its always sex on her time only, I come over when she wants me to come over, I go to her family functions but never mine, I take her to places and buy her gifts but never do I get the same quality back. All this stuff I do yet she always comes up with REALLY DUMB and OBVIOUS excuses so she won't have to do them for me. It goes on for so long then I call her out on it for not having a 50/50 relationship all the time. More excuses and promises to change yet it never happens. Always goes back to the same old thing. I'm worn out by her attitude but love her and don't want to leave her, but I feel like that is my only choice. I'm constantly mad and/or frustrated at her and I've expressed this all to her yet the feelings persist... any advice or comments would be great.     Resolved Question: Having problems finding a new home for my equine friend.?
    I moved to a new area and need to find a new boarding facility as my old one is 45 minutes away on a nice day and an awful drive in the snow. With snow it can take me over an hour to get there! I need to relocate my equine friend to a facility that is closer to me and am having the hardest time finding a decent boarding facility. I do not ask much. All I ask is that the facility be in good repair (I don't care how old it is as long as it is safe and functional), feed good quality hay, and have an indoor arena. I know the arena thing is sometimes hard to find, but it is Absolutely necessary in my area of the country (USA). I do not care what discipline the barn caters to as long as they allow all disciplines (I am starting a new 'western' career). I have tried to search for facilities on the web and in my local tack shops and have not had much luck. Basically I have found unacceptable facilities that are not safe, do not have any amenities (not even a restroom), many don't have shelters for their pastured horses (I prefer to keep my horse in the pasture because she likes it best there), and many appear to be "back yard" type facilities where someone had some land and thought they could make some extra money keeping horses on it. Yikes! HELP!!! Ah, guess it would have helped to tell you that. I am in CO. At this point I will take all of the suggestions I can get Mulereiner! Maybe I am just spoiled from my last facility which has more amenities than I need. How about if I am just looking for safety and quality feed? Sure Mulereiner, glad to. But, um, I feel silly.     Resolved Question: Why cant we just enjoy wwe and if not move on?
    I don't understand why people complain about wwe over and over, its just like any other sport or tv show, when it gets boring leave, go watch Ufc or boxing or Tna. You don't see fans of any other show in the world complaining about quality, what do they do???? They find another show!! People keep glorifying the attitude era but its never coming back I started watching wrestling in 1996 and I can admit that the attitude era made wrestling look dumb like a bunch of people who had no class. Sure it had better storylines and that's it, the wrestling wasn't better! Besides 70's and 80's wrestling fans feels that the 90's ruined wrestling, just like some of the 90's fans feel that the (now era) is ruining wrestling. People complain about there being so many kid fans, well at one time we all were kid fans when we started watching wrestling, and we didn't want anyone telling us our opionion didn't matter.... If anything its ok for wwe to cater to the kid fans they spend the most money, well there parents buy it but the only thing at wwe shows that adults seem to buy is beer and nachos. In the 70's and 80's wwe was family entertainment and they went back to family entertainment, and wwe seems to be doing better if anything because there attendance has only went up that's the main reason they can have wrestlemania in a football staduim every year, in the attitude era there was only basketball staduims.     Resolved Question: Which British newspaper is your favourite? And why?
    Please do explain your reasons... quality, political allegiance, design, etc. If you like two or more newspapers for different reasons, feel free to mention both! Here are my preferences... My favourite is the Times for its relatively neutral stance and its rather interesting writing style. When it does express a political opinion, I find myself agreeing with its moderately conservative but usually well-reasoned viewpoint. Its coverage caters to a wide spectrum of interests (it seems to have many more international stories than the Guardian or the Telegraph, for example) and I always find myself glued to the Times for longer than any other newspaper or magazine. The opinion section is lively and often humorous. I find the blatant political biases of the Guardian and the Telegraph rather hard to stomach. Of course, their articles are of high quality and not sensationalist, unlike the tabloids. However, the Guardian always seems to be banging on about excessive police power and social inequality, whilst in today's Telegraph, there were no fewer than THREE stories about how British people and Christians are being sidelined in favour of Muslims and immigrants. Yes, both the Guardian and the Telegraph have a point, but there's really no need to keep bringing it up again and again (often in rather trivial stories)! That said, I like the Guardian's layout and design. It's very pleasing to the eyes and I believe it's won a couple of awards. All right, I've voiced my opinion. Your turn now! (more...)

    Resolved Question: Should TV & Media be restricted / banned ?
    Given the internet allows people to choose - most of the time ( see yahoo news ) what their subjected too rather than being catered too i.e. gossip , reality , cooking ,shows etc Has media and tv itself become dangerous in the sense the quality of programming is " dumbing " down ( which has been proven ) todays generation , and also creating delusions ( which has been proven ) from programmes such as pop idol ? I know people will say you have choice but now single mothers are almost a regular occurrence , you also have that generation to consider i.e. that are largely ignored by their parents or given little time - as child abuse cases on the rise prove too Also what about the internet and its influence by the media i.e. places like Yahoo news headline gossip stories of little relevance to any one unless they watch or like those shows , the fact they do it now implies their almost assuming everyone does. Is that case too now i.e. is it more important to know about Britney than economy or Environment and more pressing issues ? Instead of it being given as option now though , sites such as this given them more exposure / time and almost daily for almost anything i.e. cowells " bed skills ". I ask this question in serious because I consider information -esp unmoinitored to any one dangerous i.e. people tend to believe what is continually presented to them as reality , even Gordon Brown it seems given his recent letter. The other worrying thing is that no else seems to think its abnormal either or cares enough to stop it i.e. most consider celeb news as almost the norm now , whereas 10 yrs ago it never happened - esp for game shows . Is this not just another example of greed and others alterior motives to exploit or " milk " peoples latent desires i.e. sex , and if so why cant it be channeled towards something postive instead of creating a breeding ground for chaos ? Just to add to this point , is the fact Yahoo convientiently have their news section ( featured ) right next to the log in section - like im assuming a lot of other free mail providers too . Its almost impossible then to not log in without seeing some celebrities leering face staring at you daily - ( You can take me up on that one too ) And to me thats akin to deprogramming or reinforcing almost subliminal images of granduer on mass scale i.e. you begin to think its actually important Thats just one example and I would challange any one to go to almost any site and see any different From my perspective that infringing the whole idea of the internet and human rights because the media already has monopoly on it i.e. where can you go now that is media free ?
