Open Question: Malta - St. Julians January holiday advice?
Hi, My partner and I are travelling to Malta staying in the Le Meridian hotel and spa in St. Julian?s from 20th - 25th Jan 09. Has anyone stayed here before? Can you recommend any restaurants in the area or surrounding areas that are good but not overly expensive? Basically we want good food for a reasonable price. I like seafood but my partner does not so if anyone could recommend restaurants that cater for both that would be great. I have heard that the temperature should be around 15 degrees when we will be there but if anyone has been there around this time of year can they recommend what sort of clothes to bring? Thanks in advance :) Yes, we are going to Gozo. It is the main reason we are going. My partner does Archaeology at uni and hopes to do his PhD on Gozo. We also hope to go diving with Neptunes Diving. Open Question: I'm about to book a holiday to Florida, can you help please?!?
The hotel I'm booking is the Continental Hotel South Beach, Miami. Does anybody know anything about it? The only thing thats slightly putting me off is the fact there is no fridge - but maybe American hotels don't do self-catering? Also, we wanted to have a beach holiday which is why we're going to Miami but we'd like to take one day and go to Universal Studios which I know is quite far away. Renting a car isn't an option as my bf is one year too young and there's a horrendous daily tax for this. Does anybody know how much it might cost to get to Universal with public transport? And finally (!), our hotel is meant to be just eight miles from the airport, what's the transport like there? Any other advice / suggestions would be soooo helpful guys as I'm going to book it later on today and want to make sure I'm doing the right thing!! Thanks! (more...)

Open Question: Can anybody recommend a good place to go on holiday in Europe with a one year old?
Me and my partner are planning to book a holiday for beginning of September this year as my daughter will be one. I wandered if anyone has had a fantastic experience of visiting somewhere like greece or spain and found it catered really well for young children. Open Question: Do any of you yahoo guys rent appartments in Corfu for reasonable prices?
My partner and I are hoping to head for our first ever holiday abroad. We cant change our holidays and they will be the 1st May 09 to around the 15th May 2009. We want to find self catering appartements, hopefully with or near to a swimming pool, Local transport, beach etc. Our budget is not huge but reasonable.Any help would be brilliant. Resolved Question: A cheapish romantic holiday location?
Here's the deal, This summer I'd like to go on holiday with my girlfriend. We're both 17 and have been dating a couple of months. We've talked about it but are not sure on where to head off to. We think a self-catering home of some sort would be good. I just would like some ideas of romantic destinations? It would be good to be on the cheap side so at most £600 for a week! As for location, the UK is good (Cottage in Devon/Cornwall?) and so is Europe but nowhere too far (2hr flight max) as tickets can be expensive! So any ideas or a destination, activity etc...?
